We are currently looking for a business controller for the Transport Solutions business group within Axel Johnson International. In the role as business controller you are responsible for reporting and performing financial analysis, as well as creating decision material and taking part of the decision processes. In addition, the role comprises a wide range of tasks and there is a lot of project based work towards the companies in our group. It is also offers the possibility to influence the character of the role, based on your own experience and ideas. You will report to, and work closely with the business group’s managing director.
Examples of typical tasks
• Perform reporting and financial analysis for the management team and the head office in Stockholm.
• Follow-up on cost and profit development of specific product segments.
• Support the group companies in finance related questions.
• Support CEOs and business area manager with analysis and take part in the board work within the group companies.
• Perform company analysis and due diligence in connection to M&A projects.
• Attend industry exhibitions.
• Conduct market and competitor analysis.
• Lead projects within finance & administration, sourcing, R&D and marketing.
• Point of contact and coordinator for the group companies regarding questions concerning financial matters.
• Work with continuous improvement of financial routines and processes within the group.
The position is based at our Gothenburg office and you are expected to travel as part of your job, both in Sweden and Europe.
We are looking for someone with a Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Business Administration and Economics or equivalent, with at least 3 years working experience from relevant work. You probably have experience of similar tasks from a larger company, group or consultancy business, preferably with experience from a production environment, acquisitions or sourcing. You are fluent in written and spoken Swedish and English.
You are self-driven with strong analytical skills. An open mind and skilled at analysing and presenting data in a relevant way. We take for granted that you have a strong interest in our business and improving the profitability of business.
