The Finance Director position is an important role for the Lifting Solution group (LSG) and part of the Business groups management team. The Finance Director should be a trusted business partner to the LSG Managing Director and lead and develop the Business controlling function within LSG, with focus on Company Performance, Strategy and Business Development (including M&A).
The Finance Director reports to the LSG Managing Director and work closely with Financial controllers at 22 LSG companies as well as the Axel Johnson International group controller team.

Your main tasks will be:

Business Control and Performance Management

Monthly/Quarterly reporting incl. governance

Forecast/Budget Process

Lead and develop the strategic process for the Lifting Solution Group

Business Development


Meeting preparations, Business review/Board meetings, Management team meetings, Managing Director meetings

LSG interface for Insurance & Audit and assurance


University degree in Finance, Engineering or Business Administration or similar

Minimum 5 years relevant working experience in areas of Business Control and Business Development in an international context.

Superior analytical skills together with the capability to translate numbers, patterns and trends into activities and implementation.

Capability to operate fluently between tactical and strategic levels. Firm grip on the details without losing sight on the long-term view.

Strong understanding of KPI’s in support of growth agenda together with a holistic understanding of business

Strong financial orientation; sees the numbers in the reality and the reality in the numbers.

Capability to diagnose and successfully handle proactively complex issues.

Fluent in written and spoken English.

MS office, BI-tools, Group consolidation systems

Proven Project management and coordination skills
