About the role
In the role as Communications Manager, you will drive the brand and communication development, supporting Axel Johnson International’s business strategy and goals. You will develop the communications agenda, plan, and execute on internal and external communication and drive brand awareness. You will also inspire and support the organization’s communication work to successfully execute on the long-term strategy-. This through implementing smart tools and collaboration.
The role is broad and offers great variety with the opportunity to make a noticeable impression! You will create content and develop our digital communication platforms, always with a business focus and a strategic view.
You will have a lot of internal stakeholders and collaboration groups in different parts of the organization.
Handle a wide range of day-to-day tasks within the area of communications, such as preparing texts/copy, presentations, press releases, etc., all aiming to lead and coordinate Axel Johnson International’s communication activities.
Responsible for the project management of the Annual Review together with an external agency as well as planning and coordinating the internal work. A project that includes a lot of content planning and writing.
Responsible for all external communication in our digital channels. Create and publish content in the form of text and images.
Development and maintenance of corporate identity in our external and internal communication by the right message to the right target group in the right channels.
The primary responsibility is to communicate and manage brand-related issues for Axel Johnson International, secondly to support the Business Groups in their communication.
The position is in Stockholm and reports to the Chief Sustainability Officer.
We believe you are a skilled communicator with experience from a similar role. You have a proven track record of strengthening brand perception and driving successful communication activities. You have excellent project management skills, are comfortable in managing the needs of many internal stakeholders. You have a creative mindset and great proficiency with different communications technologies and tools. Your spoken and written English is flawless, and you enjoy storytelling.
To succeed in the role, you need to be curious and open to testing and learning new things – that’s part of our culture. You are also comfortable with the changes that come with the group’s growth goals. Ideally, you have a genuine interest in industry where we have our main business.
