Business Group Transport Solutions develops and invests in companies that provide the transport industry with products and solutions for safer, more efficient, and sustainable transportation. The Business Group consists of Forankra Group, allsafe, and Vehicle Components, with a turnover of nearly 3 billion SEK, through about 20 companies with 700 employees in Europe.
We are now looking for an experienced Business Controller to join our team in Gothenburg.

In this role within the Transport Solutions Business Group, you will work closely with the operations, providing support to the companies in Forankra Group as well as handling tasks for the Business Group.
Responsibilities and tasks
For Transport Solutions:
- Analysis of the market, competitors, macro and industry trends
- Project management in M&A (analysis, due diligence, and integration)
- Support in contracts and agreements
- Project management for various business-related projects
For Forankra Group:
- Analysis of budgets, forecasts, and monthly reporting for the companies
- Continuous business result analysis using Power BI and other tools
- Board secretary in Forankra Group’s companies
- Member of the Managing Director Team for Forankra Group
- Group leader for one or two European working groups within Forankra Group
- Prepare materials for board meetings and business reviews
In this role, you will have close collaboration with the Managing Director and CFO for Transport Solutions, as well as the Group Director for Forankra, to support and develop the companies within the group.
The office is located at Vasaplatsen in Gothenburg, where you will be part of a small team with various specialist competencies working closely together. The companies are decentralised and located in 9 countries in Europe.
We are looking for someone with a university degree in finance or industrial economics, along with approximately five years of relevant and qualified experience. You likely work as a Business Controller in a corporation today. You see this role as an opportunity to broaden your skills and develop in various areas.
It is an advantage if you have a background in finance, project management, management consulting, or automotive/vehicle/transport, and experience from smaller companies is also desirable. You are proficient in business English and have experience working in an international environment. Frequent travel within Europe is part of the job.
As a person, you are analytical and structured, and with your business acumen and communication skills, you build trust that leads to successful collaboration. You are interested in and proficient in BI tools and highly skilled in Excel.
