Function

As Managing Director at REMA you are responsible for the full results and the day-to-day operations of the business. After a thorough introduction period under the retiring Managing Director, your main focus will be directed towards further growing the Rema® brand domestically and internationally. You have the ambition to bring the company to a higher level of growth and profitability. You bring structure and clarity, motivate your management team and employees and represent Rema’s interests within the group.

 Profile

• Minimum HBO (Higher Professional Education) level, preferably HEAO/HTS.
• Experience in a general management or (international) sales management role within the lifting or industrial wholesale.
• Technical interest and familiar with international standards of quality, as well as safety and service.
• Strong understanding of sales, (digital) marketing and customer service principles.
• Proven track record of driving profitable growth and achieving financial targets.
• Analytical, ability to see the bigger picture, transparent and decisive.
• Familiar with SME businesses and reporting to headquarters is a plus.
• Entrepreneurial, inspirational people manager and good teambuilder.
• Strong communication skills, relationship manager and persuasive.
• Excellent verbal and written knowledge of Dutch and English. Knowledge of German and/or French is a plus.

In this role you will report directly to the Regional Director PL/Reseller Division in Lifting Solutions Group.
