Purchasing Manager to CDS produkter, Kungälv

The Role

We are looking for a dedicated Purchasing Manager who wants to be a key player in our team at CDS Products. If you have a solid experience in purchasing, importing from Asia, and logistics, and enjoy taking initiatives and driving successful deals, then this could be the right challenge for you!

What you will do

• Manage the entire procurement process, from inquiries to delivery, and ensure that all orders meet our quality and timeline goals.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers, as well as identify and evaluate potential new suppliers.
• Negotiate agreements and prices to optimize procurement costs and enhance our competitiveness.
• Monitor and coordinate the import process from Asia to ensure compliance with all import regulations and requirements.
• Responsible for logistics and inventory management to optimize product flow and minimize delivery times.
• Regular contact with logistics companies and freight forwarders.

To succeed in the role

• At least 2-5 years of procurement experience
• Proven experience in Asian import processes.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain long-term business relationships.
• Good understanding of logistics and inventory management.
• Analytical mindset and ability to make well-informed decisions based on data, market trends, and experience.
• Good communication skills in both Swedish and English, both verbal and written.
• Education in procurement, supply chain management, or another relevant field is advantageous.
• Previous experience working in an ERP system is advantageous.
• Industry experience is advantageous. Interest in cars/auto parts/lighting is a plus.
