Axel Johnson International is part of Sweden’s largest corporate group, Axel Johnson, a family business that has been around for 150 years, today the fifth generation is active in the company, and the shared culture and values are characterized by respect for people, business, and relationships. Axel Johnson builds and develops strong and long-term businesses that address societal challenges in areas such as food, energy, health, and industry. The Axel Johnson Group is owned by Antonia Ax:son Johnson and her family. Since 2024, her daughter, Caroline Berg, has served as CEO of Axel Johnson.

Renewal and Sustainability
In 2015, a new guiding star was set by Axel Johnson with the 10/50/50 renewal goal which means: in ten years, 50% of what we do should be new ventures that we don’t do today. This renewal is taking place continuously within our groups existing businesses and by developing new operations in new areas. And within a ten-year timeframe, the aim is to also reduce the total climate impact of the Axel Johnson Group with 50%.
The Axel Johnson Group is owned by Antonia Ax Johnson and her family. Since 2015, Caroline Berg, daughter of Antonia Ax Johnson, has been the chair of Axel Johnson.
