AxFlow is a leader in pumping, mixing, and fluid handling solutions, offering advanced technology, a collaborative global environment, and real opportunities for professional growth. AxFlow Italy is now looking for Site Leader, Sales & Service to lead and grow our Bolzano/Bozen unit.

 

The Role

As Site Leader, you will manage and develop AxFlow’s Bolzano/Bozen operational unit. You will coordinate the local team and lead the transition of the site into a fully integrated sales and service unit. You will work closely with the Country Manager, Sales Director, and Service Director, with full responsibility for operations, commercial development, customer relationships, and business growth in the region.

What you will do

Leadership & Operations

  • Lead the local team (7 FTEs) in daily activities: sales, service, and administration.

  • Develop the team’s technical and professional capabilities.

  • Manage the recruitment of technicians/engineers to support expansion into new segments.

Business Development

  • Build and strengthen relationships with customers, partners, and local stakeholders.

  • Identify commercial opportunities and collaborate with national management.

  • Work with AxFlow service centers on strategic customers and key projects.

Governance & Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with AxFlow policies, standards, and processes.

  • Optimize local processes to increase efficiency and alignment.

  • Report results to the CFO of AxFlow Italy.

Priority Focus Areas

  • Review and streamline local processes.

  • Assess team skills, identify training needs, and plan development and recruitment actions.

  • Enhance collaboration with the Sales Area Manager.

  • Develop new market segments.

Your Profile

  • Technical education/background (engineering or equivalent).

  • Entrepreneurial, creative, and problem-solving mindset.

  • Experience managing a small technical team independently.

  • Strong relationship-building skills.

  • Natural leadership and the ability to motivate people; hands-on approach.

  • Understanding of basic management concepts.

  • Languages: Italian and/or German (bilingual South Tyrol/Südtirol environment).
