Job description

This position is an important role for the Lifting Solutions Group (LSG) and part of the Business Group’s management team. As Sr Business Controller/Financial Director you should be a trusted business partner to the LSG Managing Director and lead and develop the Business controlling function within LSG, with focus on Company Performance, Strategy and Business Development (including M&A).

You will report to the LSG Managing Director and works closely with Financial controllers at 24 LSG companies as well as the Axel Johnson International group controller team. You are responsible for developing LSG´s financial plans and follow-up processes and providing leadership and coordination of the financial planning and reporting to ensure that performance is in line with LSG´s financial and business objectives. M&A processes are driven in close collaboration with the Axel Johnson International M&A team.

 

Your main tasks will be:

  • Business Control and Performance Management
  • Monthly/Quarterly reporting incl. governance
  • Forecast/Budget Process
  • Lead and develop the strategic process for the Lifting Solutions Group
  • Business Development
  • Acquisitions
  • Meeting preparations, Business review/Board meetings, Management team meetings, Managing Director meetings
  • LSG interface for Insurance & Audit and assurance

Requirements

  • University degree in Finance, Engineering or Business Administration or similar
  • Minimum 5 years relevant working experience in areas of Business Control and Business Development in an international context.
  • Superior analytical skills together with the capability to translate numbers, patterns and trends into activities and implementation.
  • Capability to operate fluently between tactical and strategic levels.
  • Strong understanding of KPI’s in support of growth agenda together with a holistic understanding of business
  • Strong financial orientation
  • Capability to diagnose and successfully handle proactively complex issues.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • MS office, BI-tools, Group consolidation systems
  • Proven Project management and coordination skills
