Axel Johnson International strengthens offering in sensor and electric driveline solutions

Axel Johnson International’s business group Driveline Solutions expands its offering in sensor and electric driveline solutions through the acquisition of Regal Components, a Swedish provider of sensor solutions and system integrator of electric drive systems.

“The acquisition of Regal Components fits well with our group strategy to expand the offering in electric drive systems, system integration and electronic components for mobile applications. With its highly skilled staff and extensive technical competence in sensors and electric drive systems, Regal Components is a great addition to our group and will strengthen our presence and offering in the Nordic off-highway market,” says Jan Brattberg, Managing Director, Driveline Solutions.

Regal Components was founded in 1992 with its office in Uppsala, Sweden. The company is a technical solutions provider with inhouse development and manufacturing of sensors as well as a system designer and integrator of electric drive systems for mobile off-highway and industry applications. The offering also comprises industrial electric motors and control units. Thanks to its extensive technical expertise and application know-how, Regal Components provides customers with complex technical solutions for mobile and industrial applications.
