The business group Transport Solutions comprises two main segments: Cargo Securing Solutions and Vehicle components.

Cargo Securing Solutions consists of two groups: Forankra and allsafe. The Forankra group is a one-stop supplier of cargo securing solutions for transport, logistics and manufacturing companies. allsafe is a product company developing, manufacturing and supplying innovative solutions for the transport, automotive and aerospace sectors.

Together the two groups consist of ten companies with 450 employees and annual sales of about EUR 120 million. Forankra is mainly active in the Nordic countries, Poland, France, Spain and the UK, with sales to Finland, Russia, Estonia and Bulgaria handled by Haklift, also an Axel Johnson International company. allsafe is based in Engen, Germany, with additional locations in the Netherlands, Italy, Turkey and Australia, supplying customers worldwide.

With over 30 years in the load securing business, allsafe and Forankra are proud to call themselves experts in this sector. Together, they form Europe’s largest cargo securing group, sharing a mission to help customers find the right, tailor made cargo securing solutions for transports by road, air and sea. Their offerings range from standard cargo securing products to targeted solutions for specialised transport vehicles with highly specific needs. Customers include some of the world’s largest shipping and transport companies, as well as leading airlines, truck body builders and the engineering, paper, mining and steel industries.

The Vehicle components segment consists of seven companies: Abkati, Sternhammar, Eigenbrodt, TMT Malinen Group, Trako, Verne and Widni Group. These sister companies offer innovative, high quality truck and trailer accessories such as lighting, HVAC, storage boxes, electronics and body accessories. The companies mainly serve customers in the Nordic markets, including resellers, bodybuilders and OEMs.

Vehicle components has around 180 employees and annual sales of about EUR 64 million.
